Official Conference Language – English

Internet / WiFi – WiFi connection is available at the Conference Venue, Botanic Gardens. All participants will be given a password to access.
Padova free WIFI is available in the city centre. No registration is required. Please select the net “PadovaWEB” and follow the instructions.

Badges – Badges must be visibly worn at all times, also during coffee breaks and lunches.

Coffee Breaks and Lunches – Coffee breaks and lunches will be served to registered participants wearing their badges. Please note that vegetarian dishes will be on the daily menu; for other special needs, we aim to provide a variety of foods including alternatives in case of special diet restriction.

Certificate of attendance – Certificates will be sent by email upon request to info@sistemacongressi.com after the Conference.

Do you need VISA? – Information for foreign participants are available in Entry into Italy  and  Visa for Italy

If you need an official invitation in order to attend the conference, you may request it to the Organizing Secretariat by filling this letter (download DOCX file) with your personal data and send it to registration@sistemacongressi.com not later than 30 April 2017.

Persons with special needs – Every effort has been made to ensure that people with special needs are catered for during the conference. Should you require any specific assistance, please let us know in advance to enable to assist in making your stay at the conference as pleasant and comfortable one.

Liability – In registering for the Workshop, participants agree that neither the Scientific/Organizing Committees nor the Organizing Secretariat assume any liability.

Currency – The local currency is € (Euro). Automatic teller machines (ATM) are available in Padova city centre. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards but please always check first!

Tipping – Tipping up to 10% for outstanding service is of course appreciated, but not necessarily expected in Italian restaurants, hotels and taxis.

Electricity – Electricity in Italy is 220 volts, 50 cycles alternating current (AC).

Emergency Numbers – Italy Country Code is +39 and Padova City Code is 049. Emergency numbers: Police 113, Ambulance 118, Fire 115.

Pharmacies – Pharmacies can provide medicaments for most common ailments.

Shopping – Shops in the city centre are usually open from Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 – 19.30, and on Monday 15.30 – 19.30.

Smoking – Smoking is not allowed in public places.

Climate – Padova enjoys a humid subtropical climate characteristic for the Po plain. Summer is usually hot and humid. The rainfall in Padova is significant, with precipitation even during the driest month. The average temperature in July is about 25°- 28°C.
